I, Role Model

Last weekend, in the idyllic mountain village of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, my super seminar team from Mercure Hotel Munich City Center had to carry out a challenging task – to present historical leaders from their perspective.

The “I, role model” speeches offered wonderful insights into the lives, the attitudes and values of those great leaders. As public speakers and human beings we all can learn so much from Nelson Mandela & Co.

Below the most striking buzz words and flashes of these speeches:

Save lives – Social activist – Self-confident – I wanted more! – Exceed expectations and standards – Bravery – My enemies have taken everything away from me but my heart and my mind – Anger is not liberty – Fear – Dignity – 27 years in prison – Principles ahead of freedom – Destiny in my own hands – Perseverance – Every drop of my blood will strengthen our nation – Fight for democracy and freedom – Prison – Politics was my first love – Groundbreaking proposals – Visionary decisions – Endurance – Against authority – Own opinion – Innovation – Crisis manager – Principles – Spokesperson of the conscience of mankind – Human rights – Nonviolent resistance – Truth – Creativity – Education – Austereness – Help! – Dream – Prison – Boycott – We all are humans – Visionary – Relentless – Patience – Freedom

Hills and valleys … the first impresson on our trip to Garmisch-Partenkirchen with Florian.
On our way to a better speaker and above all a great team there are ups and downs, like the skyline of Garmisch. Florian is one of those guys who inspires people by having new and very unique ideas, which improves our already great team => like the “I, Role Model” part, our 3rd seminar with Flo.

Thanx 4 the big inspiration, pal!
It is like Nelson Mandela said: “After climbing a great hill, one only finds that there are many more hills to climb.”
Next step: the verbal Mount Everest!! Hope 2 c u very soon.

    • My friend, can you still talk without using metaphors and similes? 😉 Next time they’ll mention team building to me, I will say that, “you can be good, you can be great, but you’ll never be like the team of Mercure Hotel Munich City Center!”
