In 1997/98, I first experienced Barcelona as an exchange student. By 2003, I had returned to the city of Gaudí. Since then, I’ve savored Barcelona’s style, design, and quality of life. Anyone who hasn’t been here falls in love with the city once they get to know her. And those who have been here, love to come back. In 2010, I conducted my first public speaking training in Spanish. By coincidence, this training took place in the fabulous Artchimboldi. Since then, the ‘Artchi’ has been my favorite training venue.

One of my brand buddies from Jägermeister, Kai Behrmann, once said, ‘This training is the best team building without being called team building.’ I love his feedback. However, in Barcelona, we take bonding to a new level. Since 2003, I’ve been a faithful client of Restaurante Salamanca, located next to the beach in Barceloneta. Salamanca is one of Barcelona’s most traditional seafood restaurants. Today, I’m friends with the maîtres Carlos, Alfredo, and David. Silvestre, the owner, always drops by to give a hug. It feels like home. After day one, we all go and have dinner at Salamanca. It’s a promise maintained when I say: it will be an unforgettable experience.
